bbc to axe 6 music

possibly
still, enjoy my not-in-the-least-melodramatic responce to this revelation. :(
(the stange stuff at the bottom of the image there btw is "colour", which i have decided to try and play around with a little bit.)

fisherman

first attempt at drawing with a dipping pen. fair few mistakes. turns out keeping the pen full isn't quite as important as keeping it clean. there are a few thick lines in this caused by fluff on the nib. i'll have a jay cloth on stand by next time. i'll see if i can dig out a "mapping nib" from the old bits and pieces i have kicking around also.
(on the plus's i'm am chuffed with how the body shape worked out)

something vaguely fishy

something doesn't satify me about this, maybe i'll try using the character in a drawing rather than just having him stand there, or maybe its the way i've rendered it. this is the rotaring again, which had come back to life thankfully. i should still buy and experiment with some dip pens though, i think i might prefer the line.

Greenfingers

inspired by this picture of wolffia angusta.
ideally, would have been done with a much small nib.

pencil peacock

had to give up on my rotaring pen, this was done using a 0.1 fineliner. body and tail scanned seperately, then joined up in photoshop.
