i think i've finally gotten together in my head how my final project is going to go. so hopefully (and much to my audiances distress i'm sure) i'm going to be procrastinating a lot less over the next 2 months. i will do as i have here though, and give you the occational little tid-bit from what i'm doing, and maybe even some old bits and bobs i've got lying around but never put up. onward and forward!
(in celebration of my momentus doing of stuff, you may have this picture as a wallpaper if you ask.)
once again, i post something which is technically college work, and not procrastination at all. however, i've been doing a fair bit of stuff that is not what i'm meant to be doing rencently, and it's seriously starting to dig into things i really should be getting on with. my logic, if i post a little of this stuff, i might get on with a great deal more of it. this is a somewhat vague natural form, carved from the finest cuttlefish bone, or whatever the chalky layered stuff they're made out of is anyway.
One of two drawings I started today but didn't finish. As you can see, this started as a seated figure but, because I begun at about half 10 at night, when I couldn't get the legs to work I just cut them off. On the upside, for him, this means I've given this one a head to make up for it. I'll have a mull over what the rest of the scene might be and finish it in pen tomorrow. I shall be fixing that left hand though, which took a while to get right, before I realised it was on back to front.
